-Snakebites

This is just a basic list of piercings that are common...or not that common. There are other kinds of body piercings too, on almost any part of the body. There are people who pierce a pattern into their sides, and then thread a ribbon through it so it looks somewhat like a old fashioned corset. Or people who pierce patterns into their back, and thread ribbon through them to form a word. I would post pictures, but many people find it disturbing so I shall refrain from doing so. However, they are relatively easy to find on the internet.

Pros & Cons of having Piercings

Cons:

-on certain parts of the body, the holes are unable to heal and if you do not want them in future, you can't remove them

-may cause infection

-may affect daily activities, such as eating

-unique or too many piercings may cause unease among other people

Pros:

-easier to accessorize

-gives one a sense of individualism for the more unique piercings

-a way to express yourself

Our POV:

There seems to be more cons than pros. In my opinion, I feel that piercings are not as bad as what some people make them out to be. I myself am planning to get snakebites in future, and I do have friends with labret piercings, multiple ear piercings, etc, Contrary to popular belief, they are a really nice bunch of people. This just goes to show that not all people with piercings are thugs who want to kill you. Of course, they have to be well taken care of, if you want to prevent infection. It's just that people are too quick to judge and lean on the stereotypical idea that piercings are bad. In conclusion, piercings should be allowed.
